The 21 Days Summer School on “Seed Production and Quality Assurance” is an online training program designed to enhance knowledge and practical skills in seed science and technology. The event focuses on the importance of quality seed production as a foundation for food security and agricultural productivity.
It covers key aspects such as maintaining genetic purity, field inspection, harvesting, processing, and testing of seeds to meet certification standards. The program also highlights methods to prevent seed-borne diseases and improve crop yields.
Through expert lectures, downloadable study materials, self-assessment tests, and interactive discussions, the course provides a professional, skill-based, and job-oriented learning experience. It is aimed at building awareness and capacity among participants involved in horticulture, agriculture, and allied sectors.
Participation will be through online mode, enabling wider outreach across the country. Interested candidates are encouraged to register through the official registration link.

- Private organizations: ₹4000 (before), ₹5000 (after)
For foreign participants:
- Students: $550–$650
- Faculties: $1000–$1300
- Private organizations: $1300–$1600
Venue:
The 21 Days National Refresher Course will be organized through virtual lecture/ class hosted at ICAR-CITH, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir.
