The National Agriculture Development Co-operative Ltd. (NADCL) is primarily established to serve as a bridge for communication between agriculture scientists, extension workers and farmers with a view to maintain a record of the problems faced by the farming community and the same problem is given as assignment to the agriculture scientists to find the solution. Formation of a progressive farmer is the work of agriculture scientists, extension workers and management of National Agriculture Development Co-operative Ltd. Blending of the influences of these three, bring an effective result in the doubling of farmer’s income. Needless to say, the National Agriculture Development Co-operative Ltd. desires to have your co-operation in order to develop atmosphere conducive to aware farmers about innovative agriculture practices to yield best results for the progress of the farming community. To achieve the goal; it is essential that the National Agriculture Development Co-operative Ltd. agriculture scientists, extension workers and farmers should work together.

The main aim of the National Agriculture Development Co-operative Ltd. is be to change the socio economic status of the farming community through the handling of gainful economic activities to be carried out in accordance with the principles of the co-operative and social justice and for this co-operative shall do gainful profitable activities on scientific lines. In general the aim of the National Agriculture Development Co-operative Ltd. is summarized here as under:-
- To promote the innovative practices in agriculture and allied sciences.
- To enhance agricultural productivity and profitability through proven technological interventions.
- To educate and aware the farming community regarding the improved technology of agriculture practices keeping in view the agro-climatic conditions.
- To provide guidelines to farmers for establishing the processing and packaging plants of high value field crops, oilseeds, selected legumes, amaranth, buckwheat, specialty millets; baby, sweet and popcorn.
- To provide basic agriculture and horticulture trainings.
- To utilize the raw material produced from the agriculture for development of small scale cottage industry.
- To organize plant and animal clinical camps.
To organize different trainings courses in agriculture and allied sectors. - To spread Co-operative Education among the farming community.
To develop a strong linkage with several State Developmental Departments like; Department of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture, Department Fisheries, Sericulture Development Department, Department of Floriculture, Department of Social Forestry and Department of Animal /sheep husbandry. - To organize national and international conference, seminar, and symposium.
- To confer different awards for outstanding performance in the agriculture and allied sciences.
Key service and support services to the general farming community are to fulfill the common central need stated in the aim;
- To enhance profitability and employment opportunities through agro processing, value addition and improved marketing.
- To create market hubs for; fresh fruits, processed products (viz., fruit jam, vegetable pickles, tomato puree).
- To organize different trainings courses in; Processing, Artisans, Mushroom production, Apiary, Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Sericulture, Floriculture, Social Forestry and Animal /sheep husbandry etc. for human resource development and capacity building specific to natural resource management, improved farming, processing and marketing.
- To process and market food, horticultural, animal and other niche products like apple jam, jelly, juice, tomato puree, ketchup etc.
- To empower the farming community through capacity building and skill development in core and allied agricultural sectors along with employment generation.
- To organize national and international conference, seminar, and symposium.
- To organize plant and animal clinical camps.
- To provide basic agriculture and horticulture trainings.
- To procure different agriculture products.
- To distribute different agriculture inputs.
- To publish research journals, periodicals, magazines, newsletters, pamphlets etc. in the field of agriculture and allied sciences.
- To do all such activities as may be conducive for the benefit of the farming community.
